2025

As President of the Bentley Asian Students Association, I led the vision, planning, and execution of the Asian Culture Gala 2025—a large-scale cultural showcase that brought together students, alumni, and the broader community. My role encompassed high-level leadership as well as hands-on coordination to ensure every detail contributed to a memorable and impactful event.

Key responsibilities and achievements:

  • Managed a team of 20+ volunteers and e-board members, delegating tasks across marketing, events, and treasury to maximize efficiency and growth.

  • Oversaw all event logistics, including venue selection, three days of setup, and seamless day-of operations for 350+ attendees.

  • Directed communications and negotiations with external vendors, artists (HOHYUN and EJEAN), and sponsors, securing partnerships with brands like Red Bull and Poppi, and collaborating with over 10 local restaurants.

  • Led the marketing team in designing and distributing promotional materials, driving campus-wide outreach and boosting attendance.

  • Managed the event budget, contracting, and reimbursements, ensuring financial transparency and resource optimization.

  • Focused on attendee experience, curating programming and performances to reflect the diversity of Asian identities and resonate with the Bentley community.

  • Strengthened alumni engagement by bringing back 30+ alumni and building lasting connections within and beyond campus.

This experience not only showcased the vibrancy of Asian culture but also reinforced the power of teamwork, strategic planning, and community engagement.
